The Pakistan Tennis Federation has announced that the visit of former World No. 1 and tennis legend Björn Borg has been postponed due to urgent personal circumstances requiring his immediate presence elsewhere.
According to the PTF, Borg has conveyed that he is unable to travel at this time. The federation said it fully understands and respects his situation.
Despite this development, the tournament and all scheduled events will continue with full enthusiasm. Pakistani players have already delivered strong performances, securing national success in the doubles event by clinching the title.
The excitement has grown further as Pakistan’s rising tennis star Muhammad Shoaib has reached the singles final. The achievement marks the first time in 20 years that a Pakistani player has advanced to the final of an ITF Futures event.
