The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 159th consecutive day on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, it posted gains against some of the other major currencies during today’s session.
The PKR closed at 278.65 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
The dollar continued to take hits against the PKR but still managed to remain strong despite high oil prices in international markets.
Other Currencies
PKR gained one paisa against the UAE Dirham (AED) and one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it lost 40 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) but gained Rs. 1.01 against the Euro (EUR).

It lost 59 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) but gained one paisa against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
