The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 161st consecutive day on Friday.
Meanwhile, it posted gains against all of the other major currencies during today’s session.
The PKR closed at 278.61 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
The British Pound took a significantly worse hit today after calls for Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s resignation intensified.
PKR was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it gained Rs. 4.11 against the British Pound (GBP) and Rs. 2 against the Euro (EUR).

It gained Rs. 2.28 against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and 56 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
