Punjab Traffic Police has decided to strictly enforce the lane line system across the province as part of efforts to establish a more organized and effective traffic system.
According to the traffic police spokesperson, special measures are being introduced to improve traffic flow on roads and promote greater compliance with traffic rules among citizens.
As part of the campaign, action will be taken against motorists who fail to follow lane discipline in cities across Punjab.
The DIG Traffic Punjab has directed all field officers to ensure strict implementation of the lane system, making it clear that violations on major roads and highways will not be tolerated.
Officials have been instructed to ensure that motorcycles, rickshaws, public transport vehicles and other traffic remain within their designated lanes.
Authorities say proper enforcement of lane discipline will help reduce traffic accidents, improve the flow of vehicles and create a safer road environment for the public.
Traffic Police has also urged citizens to follow traffic laws and observe lane discipline while travelling so a safer and more orderly traffic system can be maintained.

Very good initiative. All motorists violating lane rules should be highly penalized. Unless this is done, Pakistanis will not learn and not obey the rules.
Stupid govt trying yup enforce a law without letting public aware on same.
yes basically first of all need essential information and awareness about this, for this videos can be used to provide awareness.
Need a good mannered field traffic-officer to ensure traffic compliances rules.Awareness is more effective than to impose punitive fines and violated-punishment.A.long-odd habit is not to be going over in the midnight.Better to aware than to impose fines and penaltize.
Instead of hiding n positioning on U-turn traffic police must enhance awareness n courtesy towards public.
Fuel price is already at higher side.
Positively
But first traffic lanes be visibally marked lasting durable paint. Motorcyclists shd also be strictly monitored to remain in their designated lanes who r hazardous for all road users. Similarly children seen in streets running motorbikes must also checked.
Simple solution no vehicle less the 4 feet wise shall be allowed on the road particular measures shall be taken to trangotm the two thtee wheelers atleast 4 feet wide by some design change or introduction of bar or inovative means
Very good decision 👍👍👍
