The meeting of the Annual Plan Coordination Committee (APCC) has been postponed.
Sources informed ProPakistani that the meeting was originally scheduled for May 20 to finalize the development budget for fiscal year 2026-27 but has now been delayed.
The Planning Commission had earlier set the date for the session, which serves as a key forum for approving the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) before presentation of the federal budget.
A new date for the meeting will be announced later.
The APCC meeting is considered an important step in the budget-making process as it reviews development priorities, sectoral allocations, and overall public investment plans ahead of the upcoming federal budget.
It is also responsible for approving development schemes for the federal and provincial governments. It recommends macroeconomic targets for GDP growth and inflation for the next fiscal year.
