Sony has officially announced a new PlayStation State of Play event for June 2026 with some major reveals lined up for the event.
The presentation will take place on Tuesday, June 2, as part of this year’s Summer Game Fest celebrations. Sony said the livestream will run for more than one hour and will include major PS5 game reveals, gameplay updates, and announcements from studios around the world.
The event will stream live on YouTube and Twitch. Pakistani Viewers can watch it on June 3 at 5:00 AM PKT.
Sony also confirmed that the main broadcast will be in English, with Japanese subtitles available.
Marvel’s Wolverine Gets Main Focus
The biggest highlight of the showcase will be Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games.
Sony confirmed that the event will include a deeper gameplay presentation focused on Logan’s brutal combat style and new story details. Fans are expecting extended gameplay footage and fresh updates before the game launches on September 15, 2026, exclusively for PS5.
Marvel’s Wolverine has been one of the most anticipated PlayStation exclusives since its original reveal, making this deep dive one of the most important parts of the event.

Sony also teased several additional game announcements and gameplay showcases during the presentation.

Third-party publishers could also bring major reveals. Fans are hoping to see games such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, Far Cry 7, and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
There are also rumors that GTA 6 could appear because of PlayStation’s reported marketing partnership with Take-Two.
