Islamabad Announces Summer Vacations for Private Schools and Colleges

The Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority has announced summer vacations for private schools and colleges in Islamabad, with educational institutions set to remain closed from May 25 to July 31.

According to a notification issued by the authority, the vacation schedule will apply to all private educational institutions operating within the Islamabad Capital Territory.

The regulator stated that academic activities will resume on August 3 following the end of the summer break.

The announcement comes as temperatures continue to rise in several parts of the country, prompting education authorities to finalize summer vacation schedules for schools and colleges.

Meanwhile, the Federal Directorate of Education has also announced the same vacation schedule for public schools and colleges in the federal capital. Under the notification issued by the Federal Directorate of Education, government educational institutions in Islamabad will also reopen on August 3 after the summer vacations.
