The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved the disbursement of an Eid-ul-Adha allowance equal to one month’s running basic pay for Muslim employees working in BPS-1 to BPS-16.
The notification was issued by the Finance Wing (General) on May 22, 2026, following approval by the CDA Chairman.
According to the notification, the allowance will be calculated on the basis of running basic pay as of April 30, 2026. The benefit will also extend to contract employees, daily-wage workers, and muster roll staff working under the authority. Payments have been directed to be made before May 25, 2026, ahead of the Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
The document further states that employees engaged on contract, daily-wage, and muster roll arrangements will receive the allowance according to their entitlement, provided they were in service during the relevant period and had worked against regular posts for the full month.
The CDA Treasury Division, along with all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Accounts Officers, has been instructed to ensure the timely release of the Eid allowance to all eligible Muslim employees. The authority emphasized that all payments must be completed within the prescribed deadline.
The notification also states that the expenditure will be met from the existing budget allocation for the fiscal year 2025–26.
Any issues related to additional funding or allocation adjustments will be resolved by Finance Wing-I in coordination with the relevant divisions of the authority.
