The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has rejected a viral notification claiming that Eid al-Adha holidays for schools across the province have been extended.
The notification, which has been circulating on social media, claimed that all public and private schools in Sindh would remain closed today. However, the department clarified that the notice is fake.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the department urged the public to avoid sharing misleading information and rely only on official announcements.
The Sindh government had earlier announced three Eid al-Adha holidays from May 26 to May 28 for all public and private schools in the province.
Most private schools already observe Saturday as a weekly holiday, while summer vacations are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 1. As a result, many private schools have combined the Eid holidays with summer vacation and announced closures from May 26 to July 31.
