MSI Reveals World’s First QD OLED Gaming Monitor That Can Switch Between Three Modes

MSI has showcased the MPG OLED 322URDX36, which is being presented as the world’s first triple-mode QD OLED gaming monitor.

Monitor makers have already adopted dual mode display options, but MSI is moving further with a panel that can switch between three different resolution and refresh rate combinations.

The company will display the monitor at Computex alongside several other new products.

Triple Mode Display Options

The MSI MPG OLED 322URDX36 can run at 4K resolution with a 360Hz refresh rate.

Users can also switch to 2K at 520Hz or 1080p at 680Hz, depending on the game and performance needs.

The 4K 360Hz mode is aimed at immersive gaming, while the 2K 520Hz and 1080p 680Hz modes are better suited for competitive titles where higher refresh rates matter more.

QD OLED Penta Tandem Panel

One of the main highlights of the monitor is its QD OLED panel based on RGB Penta Tandem technology.

This is Samsung’s fourth-generation panel, using five RGB layers to improve brightness and color accuracy.

MSI says the RGB stripe subpixel layout helps reduce color fringing and keeps text clarity strong.

The monitor also includes DarkArmor film, which reportedly improves black levels by up to 40 percent while also helping protect the display from scratches.

Gaming Features

The MPG OLED 322URDX36 includes several MSI display features, including an AI Care sensor, AI Navigator, and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility.

The monitor also comes with a DisplayPort 2.1 port rated at 80Gbps.

It has VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification and VESA ClearMR 18000 certification.

Availability

MSI has not shared full specifications, pricing, or availability details yet.

The company is expected to show the monitor at its Computex booth, where more launch information may be announced.
