South Air has cautioned the public against fraudulent job offers being circulated by individuals falsely presenting themselves as members of the airline’s human resources team.
In a fraud alert, the airline said it had become aware of people claiming to be associated with “HR South Air” and offering employment opportunities to members of the public.
South Air clarified that it does not charge any fees for job applications, interviews or recruitment, and stated that all hiring processes are conducted free of cost. The airline also said it does not offer jobs through WhatsApp, personal phone numbers or unverified Facebook pages.
According to the advisory, all career opportunities are announced only through the airline’s official website and its verified Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The company warned that anyone demanding money or personal documents on behalf of “South Air HR” should be considered fraudulent and urged the public to report such activity through its official communication channels.
South Air further advised job seekers to rely only on its verified platforms when applying for vacancies or seeking information about recruitment opportunities.
