Vivo’s First Headphones Can Last Over Three Days on a Single Charge

Vivo has announced its first over-ear noise-canceling headphones in China. The product is simply called the Vivo Over-Ear Noise-Canceling Headphones.

The headphones are priced at around $70. Sales will begin on June 10.

Design And Comfort

The Vivo Over-Ear Noise-Canceling Headphones come in two color options: Cloud White and Breeze Purple.

The headphones weigh 238 grams and use soft leather memory foam earcups. Vivo has also added what it calls hair-friendly hinges, which are designed to avoid pulling hair during adjustment.

The headband uses slow-rebound foam and a leather-like outer finish to reduce pressure during long listening sessions.

Noise Cancellation

Vivo claims the headphones can provide up to 58dB of noise reduction.

The headphones also support adaptive ANC modes tuned for different environments, including planes, subways, and buses.

However, adaptive ANC only works over Bluetooth. It is not available when using a wired connection.

Audio Features

The headphones use a 40mm dynamic driver and carry Hi-Res Audio certification for both wired and wireless listening.

Spatial audio is also supported. Vivo processes the feature through its Golden Ear Acoustics Lab engine, which converts stereo audio into 360-degree surround sound.

Users can also adjust the sound through a ten-band EQ.

Battery And Smart Features

Vivo claims up to 75 hours of battery life with ANC turned off and up to 35 hours with ANC enabled.

A 10-minute charge is said to provide around nine hours of playback. The headphones can connect to three devices at the same time, and users can switch between them with one tap.

Vivo has also included a low-latency mode for gaming. AI features include smart translation and an AI assistant for call handling.

Controls

The headphones include physical controls along the ear cup.

These include a noise cancellation and Bluetooth button, a volume wheel, and a power button.
