Date Announced for Passport Home Delivery Service

Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa has announced that passport applicants will receive their passports at home from July 1 under an upgraded delivery system aimed at improving public services.

During visits to various passport sections, Randhawa met citizens and reviewed complaints related to passport services. He directed staff to resolve public grievances promptly and improve service delivery.

The DG said the new home delivery system would reduce the need for repeated visits to passport offices and help citizens avoid long queues. He added that the service will operate in a more transparent and efficient manner from July 1, making the passport issuance process more convenient for applicants.

Randhawa also instructed courier companies to ensure the secure and timely delivery of passports.

He said the government remains committed to providing fast, modern and citizen-friendly passport services and will continue introducing reforms to improve service standards.
