Saudi Pakistan Joint Business Council Chairman Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud has expressed interest in investing in Pakistan’s motorway infrastructure projects during a meeting with Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan.

According to an official statement, the minister invited the Saudi business community to explore investment opportunities in major road infrastructure schemes, including the M6 Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, M10 Karachi Port Motorway and M13 Kharian-Rawalpindi Motorway.

Abdul Aleem Khan said the projects offer strong commercial potential and could provide attractive returns for international investors. He added that the expansion of Pakistan’s road network is playing a key role in strengthening regional connectivity and trade.

During the meeting, Prince Mansour said the Saudi Pakistan Joint Business Council is keen to enhance cooperation in Pakistan’s communications and infrastructure sectors and is prepared to explore investment opportunities in these areas.

The communications minister assured the delegation that the government would facilitate investors and offer viable investment models for infrastructure development projects.

Khan also highlighted the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, describing the ties between the two countries as deep-rooted and historic.

Prince Mansour expressed optimism about future collaboration and assured the minister of the council’s support for strengthening economic and investment links between the two countries.

  • just like the Gwadar refinery and Taazaj chicken projects, these expressions of interest will remain elusive. Saudi businessmen promise much but hardly any outcome occurs.

  • No interest shown by Saudia it’s a lie. Pak begged them to. Saudia has no interest for investing in Pak. We are their hired gun. Beggars cannot be choosers.

  • Best business, for Saudi Arabia and development of Pakistan having completed the motorway 6 and
    10. By this project a best friendship would start

  • Good, must translate into actions.

But should not be economic oppertunity someone benifiting at the cost of public.

But arrangements should be made that neapak or such other building firms should provide construction services to saudi so that both nations prosper and benifits goes to General public.
Prosper public with strong active defence are called strong nations.
Definitely such things harm the interest of commission agents.
