Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the admission schedule for the Fall (Autumn) 2026 semester, with applications for all programs set to open nationwide from July 1.
The university said admissions will be offered for academic programs ranging from Matriculation to PhD level. The process will begin at the same time across the country, covering all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and other northern areas.
AIOU has also opened its programs to overseas Pakistanis and international students, allowing them to apply for a wide range of courses at different levels.
According to the university administration, admission forms and prospectuses for all programs will be made available online from July 1, enabling students to complete the process from home without visiting campus.
To support applicants, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Nasir Mahmood has directed all 53 regional offices to set up Student Facilitation Desks before admissions begin.
These desks will guide students through the application process, while free computer and internet facilities will also be provided to help them submit online forms.
The university said the steps are aimed at improving access to education, making the admission process easier, and offering better support services to students through modern facilities.
