Karachi Police Blacklists 40,000 Vehicles

Sindh Police have blacklisted 40,000 vehicles in Karachi under the Safe City project and will begin action against them from July 1.

According to police, the list includes vehicles that were sold but have still not been transferred to the names of their new owners.

Authorities said cars with incomplete ownership records or unpaid government dues have also been placed on the blacklist.

Officials said the blacklist has now been finalized and action against the vehicles will start next month. Police may seize such vehicles, while owners could also face fines.

Sindh Police have asked citizens to immediately check their vehicle details on the police portal.

Those whose vehicles appear on the blacklist have been advised to complete the ownership transfer process before July 1 to avoid action.
