The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has advised intending pilgrims to prepare for Hajj 2027 as the registration process is expected to begin soon.
According to the ministry, Saudi Arabia has started preparations for Hajj 2027 and directed member countries to complete pilgrim registration at an early stage. An announcement regarding the registration process will be made later this month.
The ministry said registration will be mandatory for all pilgrims intending to perform Hajj under the government or private scheme. Overseas Pakistanis will also be eligible to register.
Officials clarified that no fee will be charged for the registration process. Prospective pilgrims who do not possess machine-readable Pakistani passports have been advised to obtain them as soon as possible.
According to the ministry, applicants must have a Pakistani machine-readable passport that remains valid until November 16, 2027.
The ministry added that the expenses and other terms and conditions for Hajj 2027 will be announced later under Hajj Policy 2027. Further details will be made available through the ministry’s official website.
