Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has issued a special message regarding summer camps in private schools, making it clear that schools are not allowed to charge any separate fee for summer camps.
In his message, the provincial education minister said private schools may continue to collect their regular monthly fees. Still, they cannot demand an additional fee in the name of summer camps.
Rana Sikandar Hayat also stated that school owners cannot force parents to send their children to summer camps.
He said schools have not been stopped from receiving their monthly fees. However, strict action will be taken against any school found charging summer camp fees in violation of the government’s orders.
