Samsung has quietly introduced the Galaxy A27 5G in the Czech Republic, where the phone has appeared on the company’s official website, with no news about the device’s global launch.
The listing reveals most of the phone’s specifications and confirms a new addition to Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A series.
Design And Display
The Galaxy A27 5G comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of brightness.
Samsung has listed the phone in Blue, Black, Light Pink and Green color options.
The device also features Gorilla Glass Victus+ and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port.
The Galaxy A27 5G measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200g.
Internals And Software
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A27 5G with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
The phone will be available with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It also has a hybrid SIM slot, allowing users to expand storage through a microSD card of up to 2TB.
The Galaxy A27 5G ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5. Samsung says the phone will receive six years of OS and security updates, extending support until 2032.
Cameras
For photos and videos, the Galaxy A27 5G has a triple rear camera setup.
It includes a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
On the front, Samsung has added a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The phone also supports 4K video recording at 30fps.
Battery And Pricing
The Galaxy A27 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
Samsung has not announced the price yet.
However, the official listing suggests that the phone could become available in more markets soon. More details about regional pricing and launch plans are expected in the coming days.
