The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 179th consecutive day on Monday.
The PKR closed at 278.31 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
The PKR is expected to extend its slow win streak against US Dollar to at least 6 months.
Today’s gains come after oil prices fell as low as $79 per barrel in the past 24 hours after the US-Iran peace deal announcement by Pakistan.
PKR lost two paisas against the UAE Dirham (AED) but remained stable against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it lost 82 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and Rs. 1.03 against the Euro (EUR).

It lost Rs. 1.03 against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and and 13 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
