Lenovo Launches $14 Open-Ear Earbuds With 48-Hour Battery

Lenovo has quietly launched a new pair of affordable open-ear wireless earbuds. The Lenovo TA410 has a starting price of only $14.

The TA410 is not Lenovo’s first entry into the open-ear earbuds market. The company has previously launched models such as the Lenovo EA350 and EA400.

Design

The Lenovo TA410 uses a clip-on open-ear design, allowing users to hear their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls.

This type of design is becoming more popular among runners, cyclists, and office users who do not want complete noise isolation. The earbuds are available in purple, gray, and white color options.

Lenovo has also given the charging case a simple, rounded design with the company logo on the front. A breathing indicator light below the logo shows charging and connection status.

Features

Despite its low price, the Lenovo TA410 includes several features usually found on more expensive wireless earbuds.

Lenovo says the earbuds support Bluetooth 7.0 connectivity and offer a stable connection range of around 10 meters.

The company has also added directional sound transmission technology to reduce sound leakage while directing audio toward the listener’s ears.

For calls, the earbuds include four-microphone ENC technology for environmental noise cancellation.

Battery and Durability

Lenovo says each earbud weighs only 4.5 grams. The earbuds also have an IPX5 water resistance rating, allowing them to handle light rain.

The TA410 can deliver up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, while the charging case extends total battery life to as much as 48 hours.

According to the listed specifications, each earbud has a 25mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 250mAh battery.

Charging is handled through a USB Type-C port, and a full recharge takes about 1.5 hours.
