Lenovo has added a new configuration to its Legion Blade 7000K desktop PC lineup. The new model pairs an Intel Core i7 13650HX processor with an Nvidia RTX 5060 graphics card.
Processor and Graphics
The most notable part of this configuration is the processor choice. The Intel Core i7 13650HX is a mobile chip built for high-end laptops, although it is based on repurposed desktop silicon.
Lenovo is using the chip inside a standard desktop tower. The processor has 14 cores and 20 threads, with six performance cores and eight efficiency cores.
It also includes 24MB of Smart Cache and reaches a peak turbo frequency of 4.90GHz. The chip has a 55W base power rating and can draw up to 157W at maximum turbo power.
Lenovo has paired the processor with Nvidia’s RTX 5060 graphics card. The GPU is aimed at standard 1080p and 1440p gaming, along with basic video encoding and AI tasks.
Memory and Storage
The Legion Blade 7000K comes with 24GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MHz.
That is an unusual memory capacity for a pre-built desktop, as many systems usually ship with either 16GB or 32GB. It gives users more multitasking headroom than a 16GB setup without reaching the cost of a 32GB model.
For storage, the desktop includes a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.
Design and Cooling
The desktop keeps the established Legion design language. It comes in a Titanium Crystal Gray finish and uses a mesh front panel for intake ventilation.
Behind the mesh, Lenovo has added a textured airflow shroud called the Night Sky design. It is meant to help guide air across the internal components.
The front panel also includes an ARGB Legion logo, while the internal cooling fans feature 12 LED RGB rings.
The desktop has a tempered glass side panel, allowing users to see the internal hardware. The main I/O ports are placed on the top edge of the case.
Pricing
The system is currently available at a promotional launch price of about $1,478. It will later move to a standard retail price of about $1,552.
