One Homes Names Kobi Karp and Jolie for Landmark Lahore West Development

One Homes’ upcoming Lahore West development has secured two landmark design appointments: the return of Miami-based architect Kobi Karp, and the debut of London interior design studio Jolie, marking its first project in Pakistan. One Homes is recognised as the country’s fastest-growing premium residential developer.

News of the appointments comes after One Homes’ significant land acquisition in Lahore West, the site earmarked for its next signature address, designed with expatriate Pakistanis in mind.

Karp’s return signals not only the strength of his previous collaboration with One Homes but the ambition of what follows. He previously served as lead design architect on One Canal Road, the developer’s flagship Lahore development, now one of the city’s most recognised addresses. For this project, Karp has cited a shift in design intent from import to interpretation, drawing on Lahore’s layered architectural identity to inform a building that belongs to its city as much as it reaches beyond it.

Alongside him is Jolie, the London-based interior design studio, with a practice centred on how spaces are lived, how they feel underfoot, in ambient light, in the quiet moments between. That sensibility comes from a sensory-led design philosophy that treats atmosphere as architecture, reflected in a portfolio spanning Victoria Riverside in Manchester and The Nest in Frankfurt.

A curated amenity programme, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks, will define the Lahore West development’s offering to the overseas Pakistani diaspora. The development itself is tailored to the lifestyle requirements of overseas Pakistanis, a community One Homes has built deep expertise in serving across its portfolio.

The appointments come during a period of sustained momentum for the developer. Since the launch of One Canal Road, One Homes has launched four further developments totalling more than two million square feet, including Diyàr, Pakistan’s first wellness-led residential development, which extended the company’s ambitions into an entirely new living category.
