Suzuki Brings Back Swift Sport With New Body Kit

Suzuki has brought back the Swift Sport name in Japan, but the revival comes only as an official styling package for the latest generation Swift rather than a new performance model.

Developed by Japanese supplier AWIN and sold through Suzuki’s Select Plus catalog, the package gives the standard Swift a sportier appearance. It is based on the Swift Aero Concept unveiled at the MFF2026 Swift Owners Meeting and evolved from the rally inspired Swift Champions Concept showcased in early 2025.

Suzuki approved the package for production following positive customer feedback. The Sport package includes a three piece aerodynamic body kit finished in Super Black Pearl, consisting of a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear bumper extension, and a Suzuki Sport badge.

Buyers can also choose optional accessories such as black alloy wheels, a black front grille, hood decals, stainless steel pedals, carbon look mirror caps, and door handle protectors. According to Suzuki, the body kit reduces the car’s ground clearance by 27 mm at the front and 40 mm at the rear, giving the hatchback a more aggressive stance.

Despite its sporty appearance, the package does not include any performance upgrades. It is available exclusively with Suzuki’s naturally aspirated 1.2 liter three cylinder mild hybrid engine, which produces 81 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with either a five speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Buyers can also opt for Suzuki’s ALLGRIP AUTO all wheel drive system, which is designed to improve traction on wet and snow covered roads.
