The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to establish a new Al-Khidmat Markaz in Islamabad’s F-6 sector near the flower market at an estimated cost of Rs130 million.
The CDA has invited bids for the project, which are scheduled to be opened on July 9. Officials said construction work will begin after the contract is awarded.
According to a CDA official, the new center aims to provide citizens with a wide range of public services under one roof, making government services more accessible and convenient.
The project follows the launch of the Pakistan Asaan Khidmat Centre (PAKC) in Islamabad’s G-9 sector last year. Developed by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication with financial support from Azerbaijan, the center was executed by the CDA and offers more than 60 public services through a single window system.
Officials said the success of the G-9 facility prompted the CDA to establish another service center in F-6 to further improve public service delivery in the federal capital.
