Karachi Garrison Education System (KGES) has announced new vacancies for its Army Public School & College campuses in Karachi, including APS&C Saddar, APS&C Faisal, and APSIS Cambridge Stream.
The openings are available in both Matric and Cambridge streams. KGES is hiring male and female teachers, lab staff, librarians, sports teachers, IT lab assistants, computer operators, admin clerks, and accounts staff.
According to the advertisement, the last date to apply is 12 July 2026. Selected candidates will be called for a test or interview, while no TA/DA will be admissible.
KGES is hiring teachers for Early Years, Home Teaching, Junior School, Middle School, SSC, HSSC, and Cambridge/CIE classes.
The teaching subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, Urdu, History, Islamiyat, General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Geography, Pakistan Studies, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Sociology, Environmental Management, Global Perspective, Arts, and related subjects.
KGES has also shared starting salary details for different teaching levels. Early Years and Home Teachers will receive a starting salary of Rs. 40,000 and above, while Junior and Middle School teachers will receive Rs. 45,000 and above.
For SSC classes, the starting salary is Rs. 60,000 and above, while HSSC teachers will get Rs. 70,000 and above. Cambridge/CIE teachers will receive Rs. 75,000 and above for O Level and Rs. 90,000 and above for A Level.
For Early Years and Home Teacher posts, candidates must have MA ECE or a one-year Montessori diploma. Graduates with Early Years or Child Education background can also apply.
For Junior School posts, candidates must have 16 years of education in the relevant subject with experience.
For Middle School, SSC, and HSSC posts, applicants must have MA/MSc in the relevant subject with at least second division in all academic qualifications. At least three years of teaching experience is required. The age limit for teaching posts is 50 years.
For Cambridge Stream posts, CIE-trained teachers will be preferred.
For Science Lab Attendant, applicants should have BSc or FSc with minimum second division, preferably with a certificate or diploma in lab technician work. At least two years of experience as a Science Lab Attendant is required.
For Librarian, candidates must have MLIS or BLIS with minimum second division and at least two years of experience as a librarian in a reputable institution.
For PTI / Sports Teacher, candidates should have MA/MSc in Physical Education. Retired qualified PTIs from the Armed Forces can also apply. A minimum of three years of PTI experience in a reputable institution is required.
For IT Lab Assistants, candidates must have FSc in Computer Science with a diploma in IT and at least three years of experience in providing technical support in the school sector. Prior experience with campus management software will be preferred.
For Computer Operators and Admin Clerks, candidates must have FSc in Computer Science with a diploma in IT, along with at least three years of clerical experience in a reputable school, college, or educational institution.
For Assistant Accountant, applicants must have B.Com, M.Com, or ACCA with at least three semesters passed. Experience in handling school accounts will be preferred. The age limit for this post is 45 years.
