Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has continued his impressive rise in international cricket after moving up to second place in the latest ICC Men’s T20I bowling rankings.
Abrar climbed one spot from third to second with 736 rating points, overtaking India’s Varun Chakaravarthy. He is now closing in on Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who remains the top-ranked T20I bowler with 753 points.

Several other Pakistan bowlers also maintained their positions in the latest update. Mohammad Nawaz stayed in 12th place, while pacer Salman Mirza remained 20th. Shaheen Shah Afridi also held on to 30th position with 602 rating points.
Usman Tariq retained 60th place, while Sufiyan Muqeem, Saim Ayub and Shadab Khan stayed at 68th, 71st and 73rd, respectively. Haris Rauf remained 89th with 448 points, while Abbas Afridi moved up one spot to 100th with 415 points.
In the T20I batting rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan retained third place with 848 rating points. India’s Ishan Kishan returned to the top spot, replacing Abhishek Sharma, who dropped to second.
Saim Ayub is the next highest-ranked Pakistan batter at 40th, followed by Babar Azam in 42nd and T20I captain Salman Ali Agha in 44th. Fakhar Zaman also gained one place and moved to 72nd with 481 points.
In the all-rounders’ rankings, Saim Ayub retained third place, with Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza staying at number one and India’s Hardik Pandya in second.
Mohammad Nawaz dropped one place to 10th, while Shadab Khan remained 23rd. Faheem Ashraf moved up to 53rd, followed by Salman Ali Agha, who climbed to 55th. Shaheen Shah Afridi stayed in 62nd position.
