Sindh Governor Inaugurates New NADRA Mega Centre in Karachi

Sindh Governor Syed Nihal Hashmi inaugurated a state-of-the-art NADRA Mega Centre in Karachi’s Surjani area on Monday, bringing essential documentation services closer to millions of local residents.

The new facility aims to streamline identity registration processes for the people of Surjani and its neighboring localities. Equipped with 20 “one-window” counters, the centre allows citizens to access a wide range of services under a single roof.

To ensure inclusivity, NADRA officials have established dedicated service counters for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, paired with a large waiting area that can accommodate 200 people.

The mega centre boasts an impressive capacity, serving more than 2,000 applicants in 24 hours. Furthermore, the inclusion of a zonal office at the site eliminates the need for residents to travel long distances to the Ayesha Manzil office for administrative tasks.

This development marks a significant step in improving public service delivery in Karachi, providing a more convenient and efficient experience for those seeking National Identity Cards and other registration services.
