Federal Urdu University Opens Evening Admissions for BS 3rd-Year Programs

The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology (FUUAST) has opened evening admissions for BS 3rd-year programs at its Karachi campuses.

According to the admission announcement, the programs are designed for students who have completed a two-year graduation / 14 years of education and now want to continue their studies in a program equivalent to a BS 4-year degree.

The last date to apply is 15 July 2026. Admissions will be offered on an open merit basis at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus and Abdul Haq Campus.

Programs Offered at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus

FUUAST is offering the following BS 3rd Year evening programs at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus:

  • BSBA
  • Chemistry
  • Commerce
  • Electronics
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Microbiology
  • BS Commerce Weekend

Program Offered at Abdul Haq Campus

At the Abdul Haq Campus, admissions are open in:

  • BSBA

Who Can Apply?

Candidates who have completed 14 years of education or an equivalent qualification can apply for admission.

Applicants must have at least 45% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.50 to be eligible for the BS 3rd Year evening programs.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should visit the official Federal Urdu University website at www.fuuast.edu.pk and fill out the online admission form for open merit evening programs.

After completing the online form, candidates must download the admission processing fee voucher of Rs. 3,000 and submit it in the bank mentioned on the voucher.

Once admission is granted, selected candidates will have to visit the concerned department or the Directorate of Admissions Office at their relevant campus. They must bring the hard copy of the online submitted admission form, paid fee voucher, required documents, and original marksheet for verification.

Evening Fee Structure

Federal Urdu University has also shared the evening fee and other charges for students applying to the BS 3rd-year evening programs.

According to the fee details, the tuition fee will be charged by the relevant department. Apart from the tuition fee, students will have to pay other admission-related charges.

The other charges include Rs. 7,700 admission fee, Rs. 3,300 library fund, and Rs. 5,500 enrolment fee, making the total other charges Rs. 16,500.

For students applying to the Faculty of Pharmacy, an additional Rs. 5,600 security deposit will be charged, bringing the total other charges to Rs. 22,100. Pharmacy students will also have to pay Rs. 2,000 Pharmacy Council registration fee, making the total other charges Rs. 24,100.
