The Government of Punjab has inducted a fleet of brand-new GWM Haval H6 petrol SUVs into the Punjab Tourism Force, further expanding the department’s vehicle fleet for field operations.
The Punjab Tourism Force is a specialized, uniformed unit established by the Punjab Government to improve safety and visitor assistance at tourist destinations across the province. Its personnel are trained to guide tourists, respond to emergencies, and help maintain order at popular attractions.
The force operates at major tourist sites, including Murree, Taxila, Harappa, and the Soon Valley, as part of the government’s efforts to promote safe and organized tourism.
The Haval H6 comes equipped with a premium exterior that includes LED headlamps and taillamps, electric headlight height adjustment, automatic headlights with a follow-me-home function, daytime running lights (DRLs), rear fog lamps, and an emergency brake warning system.
Other exterior highlights include a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, a shark fin antenna, privacy glass, ambient lighting, a power-operated tailgate, auto-folding heated side mirrors with puddle lamps, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the Haval H6 is powered by a turbocharged petrol engine paired with an automatic dual-clutch transmission. Depending on the variant, it is available with either a 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter engine, producing up to 235 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque.
Inside, the SUV features a 14.6-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, an eight-speaker audio system, and a digital instrument cluster.
It also offers advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera.
