KP Allocates Rs. 38.68 Billion for 26 Projects in Haripur

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has earmarked Rs. 38.68 billion for 26 development projects in Haripur district under the “Prosperous Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Budget 2026–27,” aiming to accelerate infrastructure development and improve public services across the district.

According to official details, the projects span 11 key sectors, including highways, healthcare, education, clean drinking water, irrigation, urban development, tourism, sports, energy, and other essential public infrastructure.

The government said the initiatives are designed to enhance the quality of life of residents by providing modern facilities, while also creating employment opportunities, attracting investment, promoting business activities, and strengthening the local economy.

Officials said the development package is expected to usher Haripur into a new phase of sustainable growth and prosperity, describing the projects as a significant step toward building a modern and progressive district.

The development initiatives form part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s “Prosperous Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Budget 2026–27,” which aims to ensure balanced development across the province under the slogan, “Development for Every District, Prosperity for Every Home.”
