Sindh Announces 8,000 Junior Science Teacher Jobs

The Sindh Assembly’s Special Committee on Recruitment has approved the hiring of more than 8,000 Junior Science Teachers (JSTs) across the province.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the committee, where it was decided that candidates who passed the IBA Sukkur recruitment test with at least 55 marks will be eligible for appointment.

The committee also decided to retain the minimum passing score of 55 marks for Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) recruitment.

In addition, officials approved the issuance of offer letters to successful ECT candidates within the next 15 days and directed the relevant authorities to hold recruitment tests for additional teaching vacancies at the earliest.

The recruitment drive is aimed at filling vacant teaching positions in Sindh’s public schools through a merit based selection process.
