The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has integrated 13,454 Tier-I retailers, textile and leather retailers, and restaurants with its Point of Sale (POS) system as of July 1, 2026, to digitally document sales transactions.
According to FBR data, the integrated businesses operate a total of 37,122 branches and outlets connected to the POS network.
The data shows that 11,798 Tier-I retailers have been registered with the POS system, covering 24,687 integrated branches.
Meanwhile, 1,093 restaurants have been registered, with 1,716 branches linked to the FBR’s POS system.
The FBR has also registered 563 textile and leather retailers, whose combined 10,719 branches have been integrated into the digital sales reporting system.
