The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced traffic diversions on Murree GT Road from July 16 to July 20 due to ongoing road repair work.
According to the traffic police, Murree GT Road will remain closed to all types of traffic from the 17-Mile Toll Plaza during the repair period. The diversions came into effect at 12:00 a.m. on July 16 and will remain in place until July 20.
The ITP has advised motorists traveling from Islamabad to Murree and Nathia Gali to use the Murree Expressway or other alternate routes to avoid delays.
Traffic police also urged commuters to check the latest road conditions before starting their journey and cooperate with officials to help ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the repair work.
The ITP said further traffic updates and travel advisories will be shared through its official communication channels.
