Realme has added a new phone to its budget lineup of devices called the C100x. While it comes with your usual set of budget specifications, it stands out with MIL-STD-810H certification for extra durability. It also has a massive battery that should be able to last two to three days of average use.
The phone is available in India for now, with no word on international availability as of yet. But since Realme’s budget phones are quite popular here, there is a high chance this phone will arrive in Pakistan as well, perhaps with a different name.
Design and Display
The Realme C100x features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen delivers up to 900 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Panda@MN228 glass.
It also supports Rain Touch Mode, allowing the display to remain responsive even when used with wet or oily fingers.
For durability, the phone combines a reinforced ArmorShell chassis with MIL-STD-810H certification and IP64-rated protection against dust and water splashes. Other hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a customizable Pulse Light LED on the back for notifications and charging status.
Internals and Software
The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Realme also offers virtual RAM expansion, while storage can be expanded by up to 2TB through a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software side, the Realme C100x runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
The software includes AI Outdoor Mode for optimizing screen brightness and volume, AI Netpilot for improving signal stability in weak network areas, and native support for Google Gemini and Circle to Search, both accessible by long-pressing the power button.
Cameras
The Realme C100x is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera featuring an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The camera software supports Portrait, Night, and Panorama modes, along with Dual-view video recording. It also includes basic editing features such as an object eraser and Smart Image Matting.
Battery and Pricing
The smartphone packs an 8,000 mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging and 6W reverse wired charging. According to Realme, the battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its original capacity after seven years of regular use.
The Realme C100x is priced at Rs. 14,499 in India, which converts to only $150 for the sole 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It is available in Deepblue Tides and Golden Coast color options.
