$2.3 Billion Profit Exits Pakistan in FY26

Foreign investors repatriated $2.26 billion in profits and dividends from Pakistan during fiscal year 2025-26, an increase of 1.6 percent from a year earlier.

According to State Bank of Pakistan data, profit and dividend repatriation reached $2.255 billion during FY26, compared with $2.219 billion in the same period last year.

In June alone, foreign companies took out $151.4 million, up 32.6 percent YoY and 211 percent higher than May 2026.

Sector-wise, financial businesses recorded the largest outflows at $534.5 million in FY26, followed by the power sector at $507.7 million.

Food sector came in third with outflows of $200.5 million to end the fiscal year.
