LDA Seals 147 Properties in Major Crackdown in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed 147 properties during a major operation against unauthorized commercial use and unpaid commercial fees across Lahore.

The operation was launched on the directives of LDA Director General Tahir Farooq and carried out by teams from the Town Planning Wing in GT Road, Gujjarpura, Shadman, Faisal Town, and Sabzazar.

According to an LDA spokesperson, 89 properties in GT Road, Gujjarpura, and Shadman were sealed for being used commercially without approval.

In separate recovery operations, the authority sealed 25 properties in Faisal Town and 33 in Sabzazar over non-payment of commercial fees.

The LDA has intensified enforcement against illegally commercialized properties and commercial fee defaulters in areas under its control.
