Pakistan spin duo Shadab Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem have been named among the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons’ overseas signings for the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
The CPL 2026 is scheduled to run from August 7 to September 20.
According to tournament organizers, Shadab and Sufiyan are among six overseas players signed by the Falcons ahead of the tournament.
The franchise has also signed experienced England all-rounder Moeen Ali, Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Perera, and United States players Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh.
Moeen and Perera will be available to the Falcons for the entire tournament. Kumar and Singh will join the team at the start of the season and will be available for the first three matches.
Shadab and Sufiyan will be available for seven matches during the competition.
“Moeen Ali and Kusal Perera are fully available for the entire tournament and will be with the squad from day one, giving the side a settled top-order presence throughout the campaign,” the CPL said in a statement.
“Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh will also link up with the team at the start of the season, available for the first three matches of the campaign.
“Shadab Khan and Sufiyan Muqeem will be available for seven matches during the tournament, adding proven and emerging spin options to the squad as the campaign progresses.”
The overseas signings will join players including Alzarri Joseph, Jayden Seales and Rakheem Cornwall in the Falcons’ squad.
The Falcons will begin their CPL 2026 campaign in the tournament opener against the Jamaica Kingsmen at Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown on August 7.
