Govt Raises Kerosene Oil Price

The government has increased the price of kerosene oil after raising petrol and high-speed diesel rates, according to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

OGRA said the price of kerosene oil has gone up by Rs7.80 per litre. The new rate has been fixed at Rs297.17 per litre and will take effect from July 23.

Before the revision, kerosene oil was available at Rs289.37 per litre.

The latest increase adds further pressure on consumers already facing higher fuel costs across the country.
