Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves witnessed an increase during the week ended July 17, 2026.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), its foreign exchange reserves rose by $33 million over the week to $17.258 billion, up from $17.226 billion a week earlier.
The country’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at $22.669 billion as of July 17.
This includes $17.258 billion held by the SBP and $5.411 billion maintained by commercial banks.
At the current level, these reserves offer an import cover of 2.54 months.
