The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has announced multiple job openings under Advertisement No. 01/2026, inviting applications from qualified candidates across the country for various technical and administrative positions.
According to the official notice, vacancies are available for key roles, including Deputy Director (RO-13) and Assistant Director (RO-12), in multiple departments such as technical services, legal affairs, HR, finance, and specialized scientific fields.
Key Vacancies Announced
DRAP is offering:
- 25 posts for Deputy Director (RO-13)
- 66+ posts for Assistant Director (RO-12) across different disciplines, including:
- Pharmaceutical sciences
- Quality control and microbiology
- Biotechnology
- Legal affairs
- HR and administration
- Budget and finance
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific educational and professional requirements, including:
- PhD, MPhil, Pharm-D, or relevant master’s degrees, depending on the role
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical or related sectors
- Maximum age limit:
- 40 years for Deputy Director
- 35 years for Assistant Director
Age relaxation will be granted as per federal government rules.
Quota Distribution
Positions are distributed across provinces, including Punjab, Sindh (Rural & Urban), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, AJK, and ex-FATA, along with quotas for women and persons with disabilities.
Application Process
Candidates must apply online through the National Job Portal (NJP) within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
The recruitment process, including screening tests, will be conducted by a third-party testing service. No TA/DA will be provided for test or interview participation.
