The Government of Punjab has extended the application deadline for the CM Punjab Revolutionary Internship Program for veterinary graduates and para-vets until May 15, offering more time for candidates to apply.
Stipend and program details
Under the initiative:
- Veterinary graduates will receive Rs60,000 per month
- Para-vet interns will receive Rs40,000 per month
The programme, launched with a budget of Rs600 million, aims to provide internships to:
- 264 veterinary graduates
- 371 para-vets
A district-wise quota has been allocated across the province.
Hands-on training opportunity
Officials said interns will gain practical field experience, including:
- Animal vaccination
- Disease diagnosis and treatment
- Assisting livestock farmers with guidance and support
Eligibility criteria
For veterinary graduates:
- DVM degree from an HEC-recognised institution
- Maximum age: 25 years
- Valid registration with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council
- Relevant district domicile
- Not employed in any public or private organisation
- Must own a smartphone
For para-vets:
- Two-year Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD)
- Maximum age: 20 years
- Relevant district domicile
- Not employed in any public or private organisation
- Must own a smartphone
