The Sindh Education Department has made facial recognition registration mandatory for all teaching and non-teaching staff across the province.
According to the department, registration of teaching and non-teaching employees through facial recognition will be carried out during June and July. From August, all employees will be required to mark their daily check-in and check-out attendance through the new system.
The department has warned that employees who fail to complete their registration within the given deadline will have their salaries stopped.
Officials said the new attendance system will be directly linked with the AG Sindh Treasury. Under the notification, more than two leaves in a month will be counted as additional leaves.
The department also said that salary deductions will be made automatically in cases of late arrival or absence.
The Sindh Education Department has directed employees to complete their registration on time and ensure regular attendance to avoid salary deductions.
