A Karachi Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer has registered a fresh criminal case against Pakistani TikToker Kashif Zameer, accusing him of fraud, criminal intimidation, and issuing death threats.
The FIR was lodged at Lahore’s Mazang Police Station by CTD official Dost Muhammad Khan, who alleged that he befriended Kashif Zameer through social media before being lured into a fraudulent scheme.
According to the complaint, the TikToker promised to arrange the officer’s travel abroad and allegedly collected Rs. 194,000 for the purpose. However, the promised arrangements were never made, prompting the complainant to pursue legal action.
The FIR states that a separate fraud case over the same allegations is already pending at Gulberg Police Station and with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The complainant further alleged that Kashif Zameer repeatedly pressured him to withdraw the earlier fraud case. He claimed the TikToker used abusive language during phone calls and threatened to kill him if he refused to back down.
Police have launched an investigation into the latest allegations and said further legal action will be taken based on the evidence collected.
