The poll appeared amid ongoing public discussion and confusion surrounding the winter vacation schedule in Punjab. In recent days, messages circulating on social media claimed possible changes to the reopening date, prompting concern among parents and students.
Earlier, the Punjab government announced winter vacations for public and private educational institutions from December 22 to January 10. The education minister later clarified through official statements that the government would not extend the holidays and urged the public to avoid believing or sharing unverified information.
The online poll does not carry any official decision-making authority, but it reflects public sentiment at a time when the school reopening schedule remains a widely debated issue across the province.
