74th Emmy Awards: Here Are The Winners

The popular award show was full of surprises and unexpected winners.

One of biggest award ceremony for the small screen, the 74th Emmy Awards took place on Monday, many television series or long-form television content came on top. So who won big at the Emmys?

HBO’s Succession took top honors for best drama series, competing against Apple TV+ dystopian workplace series Severance, starring Adam Scott, and the final season of Netflix’s much-lauded crime saga Ozark.

Whereas, Ted Lasso bagged the award for best comedy. Meanwhile, The White Lotus captured the Emmy for best-limited series. It won 10 awards including acting trophies for Jennifer Coolidge and Murray Bartlett. Placing HBO and HBO Max’s award count at 38. That’s quite a number for the Emmys.

In the best actor for the comedy category, star Jason Sudeikis went up against Bill Hader, whose dark hitman comedy Barry returned from a three-year absence. While Squid Games Lee Jung-jae won best actor for a drama series.

In the best actress categories, Zendaya retained her title for Euphoria and Jean Smart did so for Hacks in the comedy category.
