Road accidents are a common occurrence around the world, especially in Pakistan. While anyone can learn to drive a car, obeying traffic rules, driving within speed limits, and being vigilant about passing vehicles is something that is often neglected. The end result is an accident with the worst-case scenario being losing your life or horribly injuring one’s self or someone else. The same holds true for Pakistani celebrities.
Celebrities are no different than us as there have been many famous actors and actresses who have been in near-fatal accidents.
Today we look at the list of celebrities who survived life-threatening road accidents.
Ayesha Omar & Azfar Rehman
This was an accident that involved two popular Pakistani actors, Azfar Rehman and Ayesha Omar. The two stars were traveling together from Karachi to Hyderabad when the crash occurred. The Bulbulay star got into a serious highway accident back in 2015.
From the pictures of the crash, the car in which Ayesha and Azfar were traveling is almost unidentifiable as it was completely destroyed. Ayesha suffered several serious injuries, including a blow that split her collarbone in two. Though she recovered, the effects of the accident are still visible on Ayesha’s body as one hand hangs longer than the other.
Nimra Khan
The popular actress had been in a horrific accident back in 2016. According to reports, Nimra Khan was driving back from a shoot at night and got into an accident that left her in a wheelchair.
Nimra, at the time of the incident, was suffering from low blood pressure and was not in good enough condition to drive herself home. Thankfully, the actress was able to walk again, but it took a year for her to recover from her wounds.
Moomal Khalid
This entry is a tragedy as it came with a heavy price for actress Moomal Khalid. The actress was traveling with her fiancé Shahzaib Magsi when the fatal accident occurred.
According to reports, the actress’s car collided with another vehicle. While Moomal suffered several serious injuries, her fiancé could not survive the horrible accident.

Javeria Abbasi
In the early 2000s, Javeria Abbasi had a terrible car accident. The actress sustained several injuries and even had to undergo surgery to treat broken bones in her body. Although Javeria survived and recovered, she still has the scars on her body but the actress hasn’t lost her positive spirit.
Babar and Sana Khan
Another tragic entry on this list, Babar Khan was involved in a horrific car accident back in 2014. The actor, at the time, was a newlywed. He and his wife Sana suffered a terrible accident just four months into their marriage. While Babar sustained several injuries, his beloved wife Sana, who was also a talented actress, died on the spot.
Hareem Farooq
Talented actress Hareem had an accident recently while in Lahore. Following the incident, the actress had to change her lifestyle to recover from the injuries she sustained.
In a number of interviews, Hareem talked about undergoing weight loss and adopting a much more healthy lifestyle.
Humayun Saeed
It is hard to imagine today’s entertainment industry without Humayun Saeed, a possibility that almost became a grim reality one day. Pakistan’s most sought-after actor was involved in a terrible accident in Thailand, with his car being hit by a double-decker at full speed. The actor was scouting for locations for his next project at the time.
