People of Karachi, its time to brace yourselves. The Health and Beauty Expo is here, and ready to sweep you off your feet. A fun and exciting exhibition where you can not only buy your makeup, skincare or hair care products, but you can avail of a smattering of professional services as well.
That being said, this exhibition is for EVERYONE. From teens to adults, girls, guys, women, men, everyone can benefit from this unique opportunity. Not to mention the discounts are to die for.
The exhibition is being held at Expo Centre Karachi from 7th – 9th February. Which means you still have one day to explore and experience it. And the entry is totally free.
Where and When to Go?
The exhibition is being held at Hall No. 2 between 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
However, we would recommend you to go in the early hours (between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) so you can avoid the crowd and really enjoy your time there.
The Brands
So here’s the interesting part. You will find a lot (and when we say a lot, we mean A LOT!) of local Pakistani brands. This does not only promote the local manufacturers, but the general public is also introduced to so many affordable options.
We spotted Masarrat Misbah, Clazona, Olivia, Jessica, Farouk, Freecia, Medimix, Pivot Point and many other beauty brands at this year’s Health and Beauty expo. And they are also giving discounts on various products. That means you get affordable products at more reduced prices. Isn’t that cool? *Alexa where’s my wallet*

So many of these brands and salons are also giving services too so you can watch (or apply) the product before buying it. Professional makeup artists and hairdressers are there to make sure that you don’t waste your money on a product that you don’t need.
We saw them doing their magic on some models and all we can say is that it’s a win for everybody.

If you are struggling to make up your mind because there are only ‘Pakistani’ brands, then worry not dears! You can also go for the luxe and bougie option. Amor cosmetic store is also there and you can find imported beauty brands like Morphe, Huda Beauty, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Wet n Wild, The Balm etc. And they are also giving a 20% discount. Whoa!

Original products at the price of first copy products, who does that? And you can also verify the serial number from the internet which means that the products are 100% authentic.
Also, there’s a really cute jewelry stall too so if you really want to dive in that glitter and gem (pun intended), you have some great options.

Is Health and Beauty Expo a Good Idea? We Asked the People
There’s a part of us that will always tell us to buy ‘expensive,’ ‘imported,’ high-end products. Trust me, there are people who would love to flaunt a Gucci bag but find it embarrassing to try out any local brand. And when that happens, the local manufacturers suffer.
With this year’s Health and Beauty Expo, we observed a good change. The exhibition is promoting our local brands and people are actually happy with it.

“The Health and Beauty Expo is a really good platform to showcase Pakistani brands. Events like these should happen often so that we can encourage our people to buy our own stuff.”

“It is a really great way to engage our people. You are introduced to so many different products that you could’ve never imagined were made in Pakistan.”
