The Meray Pass Tum Ho team is on a US tour. Actors Humayun Saeed, Adnan Malik and Hira Mani have been attending one event after another and their fans are loving the content.
However, one thing has caught the eye of social media and people are not happy with it. Apparently, Adnan Siddiqui jokingly said something about Prime Minister Imran Khan at a recent event, and it seems that people took it the wrong way.
In a Q and A session, a person from the audience introduced himself as a representative of PTI in New Jersey.
“My name is Zameer Chaudhry and we represent the PTI here. We are Imran Khan’s tigers,” he said.
Adnan Siddiqui replied,
“That is not an accomplishment.”
Hira Mani also jokingly added, ‘Please do something better.”

A Funny Pun or a Punny Fun?
Adnan Siddiqui then went on to say a few things about the Prime Minister. He asked the public,
‘Who here loves Imran Khan?’
To which everybody responded positively and that’s where he made a pun. He said,
“He is the only Pakistani Prime Minister we elected who doesn’t own a business. This is a great thing. Please applaud for him. And the other thing is that he doesn’t want anyone else’s business to survive as well,” referring to the inflation and the economic loss of the country.”
Ever since the video has landed on the internet, people are expressing their disappointment in the actor. Some think that he was ‘arrogant’ and he shouldn’t have had made a disrespectful joke…
Others got off the train too soon and are of the view that this joke was insensitive (as they think that Adnan Siddiqui was referring to the current lock down due to coronavirus).
And the third party took it on a lighter note as it should have been treated in the first place.
