Canadian diplomat Margaux McDonald has been spending her time in Pakistan since October of 2018. She is the senior trade commissioner of Canada to Pakistan and had been posted to Islamabad for her job.
She takes care of the business side of things between Pakistan and Canada. Having spent two years in Islamabad, the country has already become her second home.
She recently took to Twitter to express how much she misses Pakistan and its people in this difficult time, wishing them good health.
Speaking of home, I’m back in Canada for now. But after ~2 yrs away, Pakistan certainly has become my 2nd beloved home.
Missing the wonderful people of Pakistan at this difficult time and wishing you all good health and perseverance.

Judging by her pictures, Margaux’s stay here has been a happy one and she has met with some amazing people along the way.
